Irene Velasquez

Irene Velasquez (Resident Stage Manager) Irene has been resident stage manager for River Stage since 1999 having worked on over 30 productions and running more than 350 performances. She moved to the other side of the lights to take an acting role in the company’s production of Our Lady of the Tortilla. She also has experience as production manager and properties manager and has worked with other companies including The Show Below, Garbeau’s Dinner Theatre, Michael Mannion Productions, and the Sacramento Light Opera Martin Luther King Project. She will once again delight local audiences this fall when she returns to the stage in The Peculiar & Sudden Nearness of the Moon at Sacramento Theatre Company.
